AD Dada
Multidisciplinary Artist
AD is a multidisciplinary fine artist, who studied at Leeds Arts University where he attained his Bachelor's Degree, and has recently graduated from Goldsmiths University of London with a Masters in Fine Art.
His work takes various forms ranging from screen printing, spoken word, installations, paintings and more. A lot of his work focuses on the black cultural experience, dealing with ideas around identity, decolonisation, the diaspora whilst also challenging ideas about what it means to be of dual nationality living in a post-Brexit Britain.
He has collaborated with organisations such as Black Lives Matters Leeds, Nice People Magazine, Watford Palace Theatre, Tiata Fahodzi and BBC Radio Leeds. As well as actively creating art in his local community, he has written for the Open Eye Gallery, In The Middle and Pennycress Magazine. He hosted his first solo art show in March of 2022 and is planning another for later this year.
